hi guys! hope you’ve been doing well! I’ve been down with a bad flu and sore throat bug since last week – it was such bad timing cuz i have shoots scheduled for this week. i went to the doctor’s yesterday and he gave me really strong medicine which knocked me out for most of the day. it would be a good thing if not for the fact that i have tons of editing work to do! ):

anyway here are a few images to share from the previous session i had with weilin & yiling. they were the most understanding couple ever – the 2nd half of their shoot was scheduled for yesterday but i was too light-headed from the medication to shoot. it wasn’t fair to them that i’m not in my best condition to shoot so we decided to push their session to when i’m feeling better. :)

love this image of them so much. to me, this is what defined them – lots of laughter. :)

celebrating pey herng + chee dai

Pey Herng & Chee Dai held a very simple but beautiful solemnization ceremony at Goodwood Park Hotel yesterday. I met Pey Herng only 2 days before her big day and I had such a lovely chat with her that was filled with laughter. :p

The pair of them are incredibly sweet and loving, not to mention really funny! Their families and friends were such warm and hospitable people – they kept asking me to eat and drink! It’s little wonder that their big day really just felt like one big, warm and loving gathering. :)

Thank you guys, for taking care of me during your day. I’m super duper touched! :D

Roslan came over to Singapore from Russia about 6 months ago to work. He really loves Singapore so he decided to bring Marie over to call Singapore their 2nd home. They held a very small and simple ceremony at the Russian embassy, followed by a short photo session at various places in Singapore. Though it was a simple affair, their love for each other as well as their families were very apparent throughout the day.

Marie was such a beautiful person – she was really excited when she finally signed her marriage cert and kept showing off her rings. Roslan too. I could tell they were really pleased to be joined as husband and wife – and it showed.

It was a first for me – witnessing the ROM ceremony, Russia-style, as well as trying to communicate my ideas across… but you know what? love truly has no boundaries, regardless of what languages we speak. ♥

I also shot the lovely wedding of Linda & Michael yesterday at Amara Sanctuary. I was almost in tears when Michael said his speech to Linda. Images of that to come soon!
